Trans* Awareness Week


In case you didn't know, this week, November 14th-20th, has been dubbed Trans* Awareness Week. We have event planned for the entire week that are extremely exciting and will hopefully bring some awareness about the Trans* community to WashU's campus.

Tuesday:

Wednesday:

Movie Screening: "Ma Vie En Rose"
A French film that shows Trans* Issues through the eyes of a child; a little girl born as a boy.

Thursday:

Safe Zones Training
Members of Safe Zones will be providing a workshop open to everyone.
7 PM in DUC 234

Friday:

Performance by Modern Day Pinnocchio (http://www.trans-genre.net/content/aj-bryce):
A.J. Bryce, a Transman, Activist, and 1-man Rockband.
He recorded himself singing before starting Testosterone and now performs and harmonizes alongside these recordings.
7 PM in McMillan Café
